Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, situated in Shinjuku, recently announced a special accommodation package to attract LGBT travellers from around the world.

The package includes access to the 45th floor Premier Grand Club Lounge and a 10% discount on a special gay area night tour of the Shinjuku 2-Chome LGBT area provided by Out Asia Travel, which offers a variety of tour packages in Asia for LGBT travellers.

This is a particularly smart move by Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, considering the fact that the hotel is located near 300 bars, restaurants and shops that already cater to the LGBT community, according to a report by Jakarta Post. Adding this special stay package will cement the hotel as the go-to place for members of the LGBT community.

The hotel also provides a cultural programme that allows guests to experience interesting activities, such as a Japanese tea ceremony, flower arranging and a kimono and yukata traditional fashion.
