Uniworld Boutique River Cruises unveiled a first look at its upcoming Mekong ship.
The Mekong Mystique will debut in 2028, joining the Mekong Jewel. The ship was designed by Madame Diep Ngoc Le of Lotus Cruises to reflect Vietnam and Cambodia’s cultural heritage.
The company released renderings of the vessel, which show what the line said was a blend of European design and classic Indochine influence. President and CEO Ellen Bettridge said the aesthetic feels “both timeless and full of character”.
“From the intricate toile wallpaper and hand-painted vanities to the floral-tiled pool framed by lush greenery, every space has its own personality, with beautiful details that make the ship feel like a destination in itself,” she said.
The ship will feature botanical touches and antique-inspired décor. The lobby will have wood floors and a staircase, which Uniworld says sets “the tone for the ship’s elegant design”. Suites will feature floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Mekong Mystique will debut a two-storey sundeck that includes a pool modelled after an open-air garden terrace.
The ship is slated to debut in September 2028.
