Macau's first indoor skydiving centre, GoAirborne, will soft-open in the new Lisboeta integrated resort on 17 July.

Featuring a 15m-tall, 4.3m-wide wind tunnel with wind speeds of up to 270km/hour, the new facility will enable guests to experience the free-fall sensation of skydiving in a safe, controlled indoor environment.

Guests will be outfitted with professional flight gears and undergo a pre-flight training session prior to their actual skydives. Highly trained instructors will accompany guests at every step of the experience to ensure their fun and safety.

High-speed cameras outfitted on the frameless glass tunnel will capture photos and videos of guests during the skydiving experience.

Each GoAirborne experience lasts approximately 90 to 120 minutes, and is open to first-timers from as young as four years old.

Membership packages, available for first timers as well as professional fliers, start from MOP4,000 (US$500).

Education tours, private parties and corporate activities are expected be available for booking soon.

Besides GoAirborne, coming up at the 820-room Lisboeta include attractions such as ZIPCITY, Emperor IMAX and MX4D cinemas, indoor electric karting, a shopping mall, a themed night market and dining facilities.
