In a new video collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, David Corenswet – the newest face of Superman - shares what he saw that’s “worth experiencing for yourself”.
Here in town in October for the city’s famed Formula 1 night race, Corenswet noted that it “felt like all of Singapore was in attendance, not to mention visitors from around the world”.
But what stood out for his inaugural trip to Singapore, were his “High Life” experiences.
These included a spin within iFly Singapore's massive wind tunnel with indoor skydiving world champion Kai Minejima-Lee, walking the picturesque trails of Henderson Waves, as well as a trip to Bird Paradise – where he was greeted by fellow ‘high flyers’ like rainbow-coloured lories and Sally, the park’s Oriental Pied Hornbill.
Corenswet was also one of the first few to tour the newly opened Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, offering serene views of the Upper Seletar Reservoir (pictured).
“Beyond the night race, I tried indoor skydiving – felt pretty good about myself until the world champ spun circles around me. Less than an hour later I was walking above the trees, looking down at skyscrapers tangled in jungle and making friends with a hornbill. It’s a metropolis nestled in a wild, natural landscape. Worth experiencing for yourself.”
Corenswet joins a string of high-profile collaborations the Singapore Tourism Board has secured in recent years.
Earlier this year, Blackpink’s Jisoo filmed her new music video at the new wildlife park Rainforest Wild Asia in Mandai before it opened in March. Other superstars to come to town this year are Coldplay and Korean boy band BTS' Jin.
