What do you get when you blend Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines and cultures?
The answer: You get SushiSamba, a restaurant with a carnival-like
atmosphere that will be launching its first Asia location in Singapore
in July.
Operated by Sunset Hospitality Group the extensive restaurant offers 360-degree views of the city's skyline.
Here’s what to expect:
Dining: The cuisine will blend Japanese, Brazilian,
and Peruvian influences under the eye of Kyung Soo Moon, an accomplished
culinary director with more than two decades of global experience.
Ingredients will be sourced from the best suppliers around the world,
including fresh tuna sourced directly from Japan.
Design: Architectural firm KokaiStudios has overseen
a sophisticated space of 12,000 square feet, with 250 seats across
multiple levels. As guests step into the main dining area, they are
embraced in the ambience that reflects SushiSamba’s Brazilian and
Peruvian roots.
This area also boasts a theatre-style open kitchen and a robata grill.
Music: DJs will curate a blend of Afro, Brazilian,
and Latin-inspired tunes, while Samba dancers and percussionists infuse
the atmosphere with pulsating rhythms.
Relaxation: The lounge serves up creative cocktails.
Concealed behind discreet doors within the main dining area are three
exclusive private dining rooms, while the Samba Room is a chic
lounge-style setting on the mezzanine floor.
