A simmering border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia remains unresolved with closed border crossings and threats of court action prolonging the kerfuffle
Cambodia is referring the territorial dispute to the International Court of Justice, after a May 28 incident that left a Cambodian soldier dead.
Local reports say the dispute is centered on four contested areas along the border - Mom Bei and the temples of Ta Moan Thom, Ta Moan Tauch and Ta Krabei.
Border checkpoints popular with tourists have been closing early or shutting down on the Thai side.
Thailand currently operates 17 official border crossings with Cambodia, spanning seven provinces along their shared 817-km frontier.
