Dubai has unveiled Dubai Gold District, a new destination that will be home to the world’s first Gold Street, a purpose-built attraction constructed using gold and designed to cement the city’s position as the global capital of gold and jewellery trade.
The district brings together the entire gold and jewellery value chain in one location, spanning retail, bullion, wholesale trade and investment.
Gold Street, set to be revealed in phases, is being designed as a distinctive visual and experiential draw for visitors.
The launch also reflects the UAE’s role as a leading global trading nation for gold and precious metals.
The precinct is supported by more than 1,000 hotel rooms across six hotels, while the introduction of Big Bus routes will make it easier for tourists to explore the district as part of a broader Dubai visit.
