Scotland and Ireland like to be known as the whisky kings of the world but India is making a spirited challenge to be recognised for its own whisky brands.
Piccadily Agro Industries has launched the Indri Experience Centre in Indri, Haryana – a space dedicated to the craft of single malt whisky.
The centre offers guests an insider’s view of the whisky-making journey, from the nuances of cask maturation to the complexities of distillation.
The tour includes curated tastings to hands-on storytelling, and takes place in a building inspired by the grandeur of North India’s traditional havelis. The centrepiece is a moody whisky lounge, accompanied by an interactive exhibition space and a cigar-inspired relaxation area.
“Every element of this space has been designed to reflect the passion, precision, and heritage that goes into crafting each bottle of Indri single malt,” said Shalini Sharma, head of marketing at Piccadily Agro Industries Limited.
