Since opening in June, Danang’s newest tourist attraction has hit the social media jackpot.

On the bridge delighted crowds, and increasing numbers of wedding couples, are jostling for the best selfies and shots of the surrounding Ba Na Hills and distant Da Nang City.
Online, posts have created an Internet sensation of the attraction, clocking 15 million views on the Amazing Things In Vietnam fanpage.
“We’re proud that our product has been shared by people all over the world,” said principal designer and founder of TA Landscape Architecture, Vu Viet Anh, who is surprised at the attention.
The area isn’t a new tourist attraction. The mountain was historically developed as a hill station by French colonists in 1919 and more recently Sun World Bana Hills created a French medieval village and gardens, alongside a wax museum and cable car. But none has hit the Internet as successfully as the bridge.
Designer Anh is already working on a silver bridge, representing a god’s strand of hair, to link up to the golden sensation.
This is great news for the country’s tourism numbers, with almost 13 million visiting in 2017, the majority from mainland China.
