Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed an exciting lineup of four entertainment shows on its upcoming ship, Seven Seas Grandeur.
These productions, created in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning
artists, Broadway directors, and acclaimed choreographers, celebrate
the influence of Broadway on cruise ship entertainment and promise
unforgettable experiences for guests.
The performances, featuring talents like Grammy Award winners and
experts in authentic costume design, aim to elevate Regent's
entertainment offerings to new heights. The shows include:
- Pasión: Celebrating the captivating Tango, Pasión
combines this dance style with modern hits, creating dynamic vignettes.
It features choreographer Francisco Forquera and Broadway costume
designer Alejo Vietti.
- Ignite the Night: A blend of dance, style, and
design inspired by American Idol, the Video Music Awards, and Dancing
with the Stars. Choreographed by Dancing with the Stars Pro-Dancer Britt
Stewart, it showcases high-energy performances and glamorous costumes
by Ryan Park.
- Marauder’s Ball: Directed by Broadway's John
MacInnis and featuring Grammy award-winning Jason Howland's
orchestrations, Marauder’s Ball offers a swashbuckling adventure set to
modern music and sea shanties. The costume design combines classic
pirate wear with a modern twist.
- ICONS: Delivering recognisable hits, ICONS offers a
contemporary VIP concert experience. It features a cast of talented
vocalists performing songs from The Pointer Sisters, Hall & Oates,
Adele, and Celine Dion. Kevin Black directs, and James Alonzo
choreographs, with exciting costume design by Jack Maisenbach and
Nicholas Bursoni.
Guests can expect to catch these productions during Seven Seas
Grandeur's inaugural season beginning in November 2023, featuring
Mediterranean and Caribbean sailings.
