Attendees from over 45 countries will be there for the event.

This paradox forms the theme of this year’s Phocuswright Conference. Happening from November 13th to 15th in Los Angeles, California, this year’s edition will once again tackle the toughest questions in the travel industry.

Over the years, online travel agents have gained a critical mass to defend against disruptors and upstarts. However, sprawling empires are harder to govern. No matter how much they commit to innovation, they are prone to the perils of all big creatures: they move slower, they have blind spots and they are less agile. How then do you grow as a company while still pushing the envelopes?

This paradox forms the theme of this year’s Phocuswright Conference. Happening from November 13th to 15th in Los Angeles, California, this year’s edition will once again tackle the toughest questions in the travel industry.

The list of speakers is impressive, too, with many of them coming to the conference for the very first time. They are:

▪ Maud Bailly, chief digital officer at AccorHotels
▪ Eric Gnock Fah, co-founder, president and chief operating officer at Klook
▪ Greg Greeley, president of homes at Airbnb
▪ Kellyn Smith Kenny, senior Vice President and chief marketing officer at Hilton
▪ Haydn Sonnad, founder and chief evangelist at Tesloop
▪ John Zimmer, co-founder and president at Lyft
