DUBAI – This year’s Arabian Travel Market is to be a virtual event after the organisers opted to cancel the live event and resume the show in 2021.
The 2021 event will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 16-19 May.
An ATM Virtual Event from 1-3 June 2020 will include webinars, live conference sessions, speed networking events and one-on-one meetings.
Show organiser Reed Travel Exhibitions said, ”Decisions like this are never taken lightly. Discussions took place at the highest level both internally and externally with local and federal government, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees who all endorsed our evaluation of the current situation and our decision to act once again, without delay.”
Another event which has been forced to postpone because of Covid-19 concerns is Routes Asia, scheduled for 7-9 June in Chiang Mai.
Hosted by Airports of Thailand, the event will now be held 8-10 October again in Chiang Mai.
Routes Asia is the only route development event dedicated to the Asia Pacific region. It attracts senior decision makers from the region's air service development community.
