Ascott is accelerating its global expansion with a multi-typology strategy, offering a broader range of accommodation types to cater to diverse traveller needs.

In the last 16 months, 11 new Ascott-branded properties have been signed, pushing the brand's portfolio to over 80 properties across 43 cities. This includes notable additions in key markets like Singapore, the Philippines, and China, alongside expanding into new regions such as Kenya and Batam, Indonesia.

Ascott Shenton Way Singapore is set to elevate the brand’s presence in Singapore’s central business district. This new property, with 137 units, is designed as a green sanctuary, featuring bespoke wellness offerings, a resident’s lounge, meeting spaces, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby café, a gym, a spa, and a swimming pool. Garden terraces will provide a touch of nature in the heart of the city’s bustling urban core.

New Horizons: Expanding across Asia and beyond

Ascott has continued its expansion across multiple regions, securing three new properties in 2025. These include Ascott Ortigas Manila in the Philippines, Ascott Shenton Way Singapore, and a new property in Wenzhou, China. The brand also made significant strides in 2024, with signings in cities like Nanjing, Shenzhen, Wuxi, and Batam, Indonesia, as well as Nairobi, Kenya. Ascott’s footprint now spans over 80 properties, with a total of more than 17,400 units across 43 cities.

Branded residences: A new era in luxury living

Ascott has ventured into the world of branded residences, with the upcoming Ascott Residences Batu Ferringhi Penang marking a significant milestone. Located in Malaysia, this property will feature 99 exclusive apartments ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 square feet, with an 8,000-square-foot penthouse epitomising coastal luxury. Set for completion in 2028, this development promises to offer refined architectural design with an artistic touch.

Full-service hotels with MICE Facilities

Ascott continues to diversify its portfolio with full-service hotels that include MICE facilities. For example, the newly signed Ascott Villas Riyadh in Saudi Arabia is set to open in July 2025. This all-villa hotel, located near Riyadh’s financial hub, will offer luxury living with a collection of two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas, some with private pools. The property will also feature versatile meeting rooms and executive boardrooms, making it perfect for both business and leisure stays.

Ascott Soirée returns to celebrate art and local culture

Ascott is also reviving its signature programme, Ascott Soirée, a celebration of art, culture, and fine living. Through immersive experiences, Ascott Soirée transforms each property into a living gallery with curated in-property experiences, live performances, visual art, and bespoke culinary moments. For instance, guests at Ascott Orchard Singapore will be able to enjoy a Mother's Day concert by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, while Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo will showcase Edo-period woodblock prints in collaboration with local artists.
