A new 618-room hotel is set to open in the Sha Tin area of Hong Kong towards the end of the year.
The Alva Hotel will feature a range of F&B outlets, a fitness centre and a thermostatic swimming pool on the roof. Other tech-driven features will include mobile keys and self-check-in/out kiosks.
Within the rooms, guests can use a tablet to control room features such as lighting, request hotel staff or housekeeping services and make reservations at hotel restaurants and bars. An eConcierge service will point out places of interest in the Sha Tin neighbourhood, from hiking routes and cycling trails, to historical attractions like The Old House at Wong Uk Village and the Ten Thousand Buddha Monastery.
The hotel is currently accepting advance reservations for stays from November 1, 2019 onwards.
