Silversea Cruises is developing a 150-room hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, the southernmost city on Earth, to enhance its Antarctica expedition offerings. The hotel, scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, aims to provide a seamless experience for guests travelling to the Antarctic.

The hotel will serve as a key part of Silversea's Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise program, which offers a direct route to the White Continent from Santiago. Guests will benefit from a more streamlined journey, enjoying Silversea’s renowned service throughout their trip.

At a groundbreaking ceremony, Silversea’s partners, including Chilean investors and government representatives, celebrated the start of construction.

The hotel’s location in the sub-Antarctic zone of Patagonia offers views of the Beagle Channel, snow-capped mountains, and pristine forests. It will include a restaurant, bar, fitness centre, and a gift shop featuring local handicrafts.
