Accor is expanding its footprint in key market Japan with the signing
of two ibis Styles hotels, one each in Tokyo and Kyoto, both set for a
4Q 2021 launch.
This will take the French hospitality brand's local portfolio to 21
hotels and resorts across eight cities by the beginning of 2022.
The 224-room ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza — centrally located in the
upmarket shopping, dining, and entertainment district of the same name —
is situated within a five minutes’ walk to Ginza Station, and a seven
minutes’ walk to Shimbashi JR station.
Away from the capital to cultural-centric Kyoto, the ibis Styles
Kyoto Shijo is situated near the bustling street of Shijo Dori lined
with shops, department stores, restaurants and stores selling
traditional handcrafted products. Guests staying at the 281-room hotel
can easily access the Karasuma Station located within a five minutes’
walk, or take a 10 minutes’ drive to the Kyoto JR station.
Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza and ibis Styles Kyoto Shijo adds to the five
properties under the budget-friendly ibis Styles brand, and joins
Accor's collection of more than 560 ibis Styles hotels across 45
countries.
