The United Arab Emirates has ratified a decision to grant visas on arrival for Chinese visitors to the UAE.
The government-controlled Dubai Media Office did not reveal the exact date the decision will be implemented.
In 2015, 450,000 Chinese visitors came to the UAE, up 29% year-on-year.
In May, Dubai-based Emirates Airline expanded its network to China by adding Yinchuan and Zhengzhou in western and central China as its fourth and fifth destination in the country.
Last week, the Gulf state of Qatar announced that Chinese visitors would be allowed to obtain visas on arrival, in the country. Again, no date was given for the implementation of the new service.
