From 1 November 2025, Singapore Airlines will adjust its KrisFlyer award charts, meaning travellers may need to spend more miles for certain flights, while new redemption and earning options are also being introduced.

Saver awards – generally costing fewer miles – will rise by 5% for Europe and the US, 5% for business and first/suites within Asia and the south-west Pacific, and 10–20% for Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey. Advantage awards across most regions will increase 10–15%, with specific rises for Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey: 5% in economy, 18% in business, and 15% in first class. Economy Saver flights within Asia and the south-west Pacific will decrease by 5%.
Redemptions booked and ticketed before 1 November will continue to use current rates. Changes apply to Singapore Airlines, Star Alliance, and partner flights.
New Access redemption
A new option called Access will allow members to use miles to secure seats on preferred flights even if award seats are fully booked. “Seats available for Access redemption are over and above the seats available for award flights,” SIA said.
Earning status credits from non-flight spending
From 1 September 2025, KrisFlyer members can earn Status Credits – which count towards tier upgrades – through non-flight spending on the Kris+ lifestyle app, KrisShop, and Pelago experiences.
PPS Club members earn one PPS Value per SGD 3 spent, while KrisFlyer members earn one Elite mile per SGD 1 spent. Caps apply depending on the tier being targeted or maintained.
