Oman Air has launched non-stop services between Muscat and Singapore, marked by an inaugural flight on 2 July 2026.
Running four times weekly, the journey will take eight hours on a Boeing 737 MAX narrow-body. Each direct flight offers 162 seats – 12 in business class, and 150 in economy class.
Travellers will also be able to tap on Oman Air’s membership in the Oneworld Alliance.
This also marks the comeback of the Omani airline to Singapore.
Nine years ago, the airline ran the same Muscat and Singapore route with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur, said CEO Con Korfiatis in an interview with The Straits Times.
Within the next 12 months, Oman Air is expected to announce one more new direct destination in the region. China, Japan and South Korea have been identified as key markets.
