Banyan Tree AlUla has opened in Saudi Arabia’s stunning Ashar Valley
with a gala dinner, private concert by music legend Mariah Carey,
curated animations on the valley’s rock formations and a choreographed
music routine featuring Arabian horses.
Banyan Tree said AlUla “creates the perfect home for the global brand”.
The key principles of the all-villa resort are built around three
concepts to allow guests to immerse in the resort and its surroundings
in a multi-sensory experience.
'In-villa' gives guests dining, wellness, and entertainment experiences.
'In-valley' takes the guests into nature with outdoor treatments,
nomadic chef's tables, active adventures, and private events staged in
spectacular settings.
‘En-voyage' takes guests through immersions crafted with local
talents. Activities include massages in secluded caves and soothing
sound baths under the stars and picnics in the sky aboard a floating hot
air balloon.
Also offered are vintage plane or helicopter adventures, flying over
AlUla's sites - with the possibility to extend the journey as far as the
Red Sea.
"We are immensely proud to open this landmark property in such an
iconic location. We wanted to create an escape where guests could truly
immerse themselves in the destination while enjoying the Banyan Tree
hospitality," said general manager Antony Treston.
