The Taiwan Tourism Administration announced it will offer up to NT$8,000 (US$250) in incentives for all returning international visitors.
Under the programme, individual returning tourists are eligible for a NT$5,000 travel discount, with an additional NT$3,000 available for a travelling companion.
The initiative seeks to develop deeper, more differentiated itineraries for the growing repeat-visitor segment, supported by Taiwan’s ongoing “Non-Stop” campaign which spotlights the destination’s “always-on” appeal.
According to national data, Taiwan welcomed nearly three million overseas tourists in 1Q 2026, marking a 3.8% year-on-year increase.
Key markets include Singapore, with 54,648 visitors recorded from January to February, up 7.9% year-on-year.
Japan is another important market, with some 1.48 million tourists arriving into Taiwan in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of over 12%.
Continued travel stimulus will also be applicable for visitors entering for trade exhibitions, said the Taiwan Tourism Administration.
The official launch date and mechanics will be announced at a later time.
