Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Legend of the Seas, has officially taken to the waters for the first time, marking a significant milestone towards its July 2026 debut.

The third ship in the Icon Class began sea trials on 21 April and will cover approximately 2,400 nautical miles, before returning to the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland for its final stages of construction.

When it sets sail, the 5,610 pax ship will offer the largest dining lineup at sea with 28 options, split into complimentary and specialty offers.

Legend of the Seas will sail across Europe on seven-night Western Mediterranean adventures from Barcelona, Spain and Rome (Civitavecchia), before heading to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for its Caribbean debut in November.
