Malaysia’s publicly listed outbound travel brand, Golden Destinations, will charter Star Voyager from StarCruises for a series of exclusive sailings from Port Klang to Thailand during the December 2026 school holiday season.
Available exclusively through Kuala Lumpur-based Golden Destinations' flagship cruise division, GD World Cruises, the sailings will offer voyages to Phuket and Krabi and will target family and corporate incentive travellers.
The deployment will feature five departures between 5 and 22 December, offering a choice of 2-night and 3-night itineraries.
The GD group successfully raised RM90 million (US$22 million) during its April 2026 public offering to fund its regional expansion, hiring, and IT system enhancement.

Travellers can choose from five departures throughout the December 2026 school holidays:
- Sailing 1: Departing 5 December, Saturday (3-night Phuket-Krabi cruise)
- Sailing 2: Departing 8 December, Tuesday (3-night Phuket-Krabi cruise)
- Sailing 3: Departing 18 December, Friday (2 night Krabi cruise)
- Sailing 4: Departing 20 December, Sunday (2 night Phuket cruise)
- Sailing 5: Departing 22 December, Tuesday (3-night Phuket-Krabi cruise)
