Fiji is on track to reopen to international travellers starting 1 December, with Blue Lagoon Cruises announcing its return to the Oceania Region, starting 14 January.
The 70 year-old cruise line, which is an affiliate of Fijian Holdings Ltd and South Sea Cruises, will restart sailings aboard its 55m M.V. Fiji Princess, capable of carrying 68 passengers in its 34 cabins, supported by an all-Fijian crew of 30.
Departing from Port Denarau, M.V. Fiji Princess offers a 3, 4 or 7-night cruise, sailing through the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands.
According to its website, all international guests must be fully vaccinated, and can "check-in and depart aboard Blue Lagoon Cruises within the first two days, however this remains subject to change based on the Fiji Government’s border reopening protocols".
Travel period is from 14 January 2022 to 31 March 2023, with a Fiji sail sale going on until 20 November 2021.
At the point of writing, other cruise lines which used to offer Fiji itineraries such as Celebrity Cruises, and Royal Caribbean International have not yet indicated restarts in Fiji.
