Swan Hellenic's newest and largest ship in its fleet, the SH Diana, has floated out of dry dock at Helsinki Shipyard on 23 January.

With its fitting out now under way, the SH Diana is on track for its inaugural sailing themed 'Mysteries of Carthage and the Moors', which will be departing Palermo, Italy for Lisbon, Portugal on 15 April.

The SH Diana will then make its way up the West Atlantic seaboard of Europe to take travellers on expeditions in the Arctic.

Stretching 125m in length, the SH Diana can accommodate a maximum capacity of 192 guests, who will be serviced by 141 staff. There are 85 guest staterooms and 11 suites which mostly come furnished with large panoramic balconies.

Just like its sister ships, the SH Diana will feature elegant Scandi-design interiors, extensive outdoor spaces and dedicated expedition facilities.

Guests can find three F&B options onboard – the Swan Restaurant, Club Lounge and Pool Bar & Grill.

Andrea Zito, CEO of Swan Hellenic, said: "We look forward to welcoming our guests aboard her to experience our cultural expedition cruises with the first-time option of choosing between shore exploration by tender boat as well as expedition zodiac.”
