After a two-year hiatus, the National Association of Travel Agents
Singapore's (NATAS) travel fair is making a comeback this year.
The NATAS Travel Fair will take place from 12 to 14 August 2022 at
Singapore Expo Hall 5. More than 40 exhibitors, comprising travel
agents, airlines, cruise operators, hotels and national tourist
organisations, will be showcasing their offerings at the fair's 56th
edition this year.
“As more borders reopen, the economy has definitely picked up and the
mood in the travel industry is buoyant and optimistic; illustrating
travel resilience displayed globally and within Singapore,” said Steven
Ler, president of NATAS. “NATAS’ Travel Fairs being the largest of its
kind, is thankful of its consumers for their patronage and trust over
the years.”
Major travel agents such as WTS Travel, EU Holidays, Chan Brothers,
ASA Holidays, Trafalgar and CTC Travel will be exhibiting at the
three-day fair, while regional NTOs from Japan, South Korea, Sarawak,
Taiwan, Thailand and the Maldives will also be participating in the
event.
Admission is free and open to everyone, and travel consumers can look
forward to a bonanza of exclusive travel packages at attractive rates.
“WTS Travel is excited that the NATAS Travel Fair would be back this
year after an absence of more than two years,” enthused Voo Wei Keong,
director of WTS Travel. “We are looking forward to bringing and offering
our best deals to the masses during the NATAS fair.”
Consumers can also expect to partake in the fair’s signature Grand
Draw. With every S$500 (US$362) spent, they’ll be entitled to a chance
to win air tickets, tour packages and shopping vouchers. Top prizes
include a pair of Singapore Airlines Business Class round-trip tickets
between Singapore and London, and a 5N cruise from Singapore onboard
Resorts’ World Cruises’ Genting Dream for two persons in a Palace Suite.
Lauded
as Singapore’s largest consumer travel fair, travellers have flocked in
droves to previous editions of the NATAS Travel Fair in search of
scoring great deals and special incentives in travel packages. In 2018,
the NATAS Travel Fair saw a record-breaking crowd of 113,103 visitors.
