Galaxy Arena has unveiled a three-year strategic partnership with
Warner Music China, aiming to leverage their combined strengths, vast
industry influence, and development experiences to curate an exciting
range of top-tier music performances and entertainment extravaganzas.
The goal of the partnership is to attract music enthusiasts from
around the world to choose Macao as a travel destination, as part of the
efforts to support Macao's "Tourism + Entertainment" cross-sector
integration and promote the development of the city's cultural and
entertainment industry.
The central objective of this innovative collaboration is to entice
music enthusiasts from around the world to choose Macao as their travel
destination. This aligns seamlessly with Macao's cross-sector "Tourism +
Entertainment" integration initiative integration, further fostering
the city's cultural and entertainment industry.
As part of this collaboration, Warner Music China will organise
concerts featuring its artists in Macao, curate cultural events such as
music festivals, lectures, and forums, and facilitate its artists'
participation in commercial activities within the city.
The partnership aims to tap into Warner Music China's impressive
artist roster, robust content development team in China, and wealth of
resources and experience in music content creation and large-scale music
events. This initiative creates fresh opportunities for enhancing both
online and offline interactive experiences, driving industry growth in
the process.
At the same time, Warner Music's artists gain access to the Galaxy
Arena, the newest and state-of-the-art indoor arena with a seating
capacity of 16,000.
Francis Lui, vice chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group, said, “We
are confident that this partnership will unlock the immense potential
for further cultural exchange between the two regions, enriching the
travel and leisure experiences of Macao residents and tourists, and
propelling Macao's cultural and entertainment industry to new heights."
Jonathan Serbin, co-president of Warner Music Asia, concurred,
"Through this cooperation, Warner Music will bring a wide range of
global artists to the Galaxy to help enrich the already fast expanding
cultural and entertainment activities in Macao. We are looking forward
to a strong partnership with both the GEG and Macao; and we are very
excited to move ahead together on this project."
