Fathimath Thaufeeq assumes the role of CEO and managing director at
the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) after
Thoyyib Mohamed's departure in November.
Her appointment aligns with Maldives' celebratory achievement of welcoming a record-breaking 1.8 million visitors in 2023.
Originally considered for the managing director position at SME
Development Finance Corporation (SDFC), Fathimath Thaufeeq was
subsequently chosen by the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB)
to lead MMPRC immediately.
Before this role, she served as the vice-president of the Party's
Addu Meedhoo constituency and held significant positions at WAMCO and
Jalboot Maldives.
