Pan Pacific makes two GM appointments
Pan Pacific has made two general manager appointments for its PARKROYAL properties in Myanmar and Malaysia, which will see Mark Losi taking the helm as general manager of PARKROYAL Yangon and Guy Owen heading PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur.

In his new position, Losi will lead the 333-key PARKROYAL Yangon located in the central business district, which was recently refurbished in 2016.

Losi, who has been with the group for 15 years, has held general manager appointments at PARKROYAL Penang Resort, Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore, and PARKROYAL on Beach Road, where he led the hotel’s SGD$20 million makeover. He was mostly recently general manager at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur.

Taking over the reins from Losi, Owen will command PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur, a 426-room hotel in the heart of the bustling Malaysian capital.

Since joining Pan Pacific Hotels, Owen has risen rapidly through its ranks, having been promoted from his position as Food & Beverage Manager with Pan Pacific Orchard to Food & Beverage Director at Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort, and in 2016, became general manager of Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort.

Prior to joining Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Owen was with The Savoy London and the Covent Garden Hotel London.
