Genting Singapore subsidiary Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has announced the appointment of Chen Si as its new COO.

Si will be completing his handover as current CEO of Korea’s INSPIRE Entertainment Resort, before taking on his new role at RWS officially on 1 December 2025.

As COO, he will assist RWS CEO Lee Shi Ruh in the “execution of the strategies, management and development of RWS’ core businesses”, said a company media statement.

These include the resort’s ongoing transformation under RWS 2.0, a S$6.8 billion (US$5 billion) revamp that once complete by around 2030 will include a substantial new waterfront expansion.

New offerings at RWS include the revamped retail precinct Weave and the Singapore Oceanarium, both of which opened in July. Earlier this month, the resort also welcomed the all-suite The Laurus, A Luxury Collection Resort.
