In his expanded role, Andicot will oversee Operations and Development across the region, aligning growth with operating performance, accelerating conversions and openings, strengthening the leadership bench, and deepening owner partnerships.

Andicot brings nearly three decades of experience across hotel operations, consultancy, planning, feasibility, and development in India and South Asia. He joined Marriott International’s Development & Feasibility team in 2006 and has held leadership positions during his 19 years with the company.

During his tenure leading development in South Asia, Andicot has signed more than 220 hotels across India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. In India alone, he and his team secured a record 42 hotel signings representing 7,000 rooms in 2024. Earlier this year, Andicot also signed a founding deal with Concept Hospitality to affiliate The Fern portfolio of 115 properties with Series by Marriott.

These developments extend Marriott’s reach into Tier 2 and 3 cities such as Surat, Shimla, Jalandhar, and Coorg, alongside expansion into the residences segment.

“These accomplishments are a testament to Kiran’s deep understanding of South Asia markets, strong relationships with our owner partners, incisive business acumen and steady leadership,” said Rajeev Menon, president of Marriott International Asia Pacific excluding China. “I am confident that with Kiran’s vast expertise supported by our experienced leadership bench, will position Marriott well as we continue our trajectory of sustained growth in South Asia.”
