WorldHotels has announced the addition of Hangzhou ZhongWei Goethe
Hotel to its Distinctive collection, marking the brand's first location
in Hangzhou and its 20th hotel in China.
The property, which overlooks West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage
site, joins the upscale hotel group following a comprehensive
refurbishment in 2021.
Located in Hangzhou's Shangcheng District, the hotel features 196
rooms and suites, including business and family options. Amenities
include an Executive Club Lounge, all-day dining at the Lake View
Restaurant, Chinese cuisine at ZhongWei Palace, a lobby bar, indoor
swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and mahjong rooms.
The property boasts 1,500 square metres of meeting space, including
the 800-square metre Goethe Hall with a 24-metre-high atrium. It has
hosted several high-profile events, such as the 2016 B20 Summit and 2019
Asian Games.
