Accor has added a flag in north China’s inner Mongolia autonomous region under its Pullman brand, opening doors in Baotou’s new central business district.

Pullman Baotou has set foot in a mixed-use complex, which includes a shopping mall and commercial tower. Adjacent to the hotel are landmarks like the Baotou Municipal Government, International Convention and Exhibition Center, and Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.

The airport, city’s main train station and Baotou’s historic downtown are located within a 20-minute drive away.

The property’s 263 guestrooms and suites enjoy either garden views or the Saihantala Ecological Park, Asia’s largest urban wetland grassland. Hotel interiors, designed by the award-winning firm HBA, feature Inner Mongolian pottery and traditional patterns.

“Pullman is the city’s latest international branded hotel to launch in Baotou in more than a decade. It sets a new benchmark for premium hotel experiences in the city and further enhances the development of Baotou’s new CBD,” said Gary Rosen, chairman and chief operating officer, Accor Greater China.

The hotel offers four venues for wining and dining, ranging from a cosmopolitan lobby bar, American-style restaurant featuring locally sourced and international ingredients, international-style restaurant and Chinese restaurant.

The hotel also adds extensive meetings and events inventory, with a 2,000sqm grand ballroom for 1,200 guests as well as an outdoor terrace.

Its leisure facilities also include Fit Lounge, an indoor swimming pool and spa lounge.
