One Bangkok, a massive integrated urban development in the heart of Bangkok's Central Business District, is scheduled to open its doors on 25 October 2024. The project, with an investment value of US$3.2 billion, is one of Thailand's largest private sector developments.
Spanning approximately 17 hectares, One Bangkok will feature three retail experiences, five premium office towers, five luxury and lifestyle hotels (including Bangkok's first Ritz-Carlton and Andaz), and three upscale residential towers. The development will also house Thailand's first Mitsukoshi supermarket and food hall.
Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the district will showcase permanent public sculptures by renowned artists Anish Kapoor and Tony Cragg. Half of the total land area is dedicated to open and green spaces, connecting the city's Lumphini and Benjakitti Parks.
Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Limited, stated: "One Bangkok embodies our vision for the future of Bangkok as a global hub for business, tourism and investment. By seamlessly blending world-class facilities with cutting-edge sustainability and innovation, we are not just creating a must-visit destination for everyone living in or visiting Bangkok – we are reshaping the future of urban living."
The development has achieved several sustainability certifications, including LEED for Neighbourhood Development Platinum, and WiredScore and SmartScore Platinum certifications.
One Bangkok aims to elevate Bangkok's status as an international hub for business, tourism, and the arts, offering a blend of work, retail, hospitality, and cultural experiences in a single location.
