Hilton will this week debut the Canopy by Hilton brand in Japan with the opening of Canopy Osaka Umeda in the city’s new lifestyle hub, Grand Green Osaka.
Grand Green Osaka is transforming the north part of the city into a contemporary district with a wide range of facilities, improved transport links and extensive green space.
Facilities will include shops, restaurants, urban parks, a museum, sports and edutainment cubes, an information centre and a canopy-covered event space.
Along with Canopy Osaka Umeda, Grand Green Osaka will be home to the luxury Waldorf Astoria Osaka with 252 rooms and the upscale Hotel Hankyu Gran Respire Osaka with 482 rooms.
Canopy Osaka Umeda, located approximately seven minutes from JR Osaka station, has 308 rooms, including 53 suites and 19 connecting rooms, ranging in size from 32sqm to 127sqm.
Grand Green Osaka and Canopy Osaka Umeda, will officially launch on 6 September.
