After a US$12million facelift over nine months, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, situated along the heritage area of Jalan Sultan Ismail, has been relaunched with considerable fanfare.

After extensive renovations, the hotel has increased its room inventory to 398 rooms to offer guests a wider range of accommodation options from Superior Rooms to spacious Deluxe Rooms and Suites, all refreshed with bright and contemporary finishing.

“We have been welcoming guests for the past 22 years and cannot wait to show them our new look after the completion of a multimillion-dollar facelift that encompasses a wider range of accommodation options, a new look for our meeting facilities and revamped dining concepts,” said Frank Beck, managing director of Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur.

Meeting and banqueting facilities include a junior and Grand Ballroom, boardroom, and 13 meeting rooms fitted with new furnishings and state-of-the-art AV equipment.

There is Club Lounge on the 38th floor with views of the KL Tower.

The hotel’s dining venues have been refreshed, with the Pavilions Lounge & Bar redesigned to showcase a combination of modern fixtures and heritage characteristics. The living room area has been further transformed into a new library-styled bar area with built-in wine cellar and cigar humidor.
