With adventure and wellness tourism on the rise, Marriott is expanding into the outdoors with new offerings designed to connect travellers to nature-focused stays and activities.

Logging onto Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors, travellers can now explore and book trips based on location, type of accommodation, and a curated list of preferred activities such as skiing, hiking, glamping, scuba diving, surfing and biking. The platform integrates more than 450 hotels, 50,000 villas and homes across Marriott’s signature brands.

Alongside the platform, Marriott is also launching the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy. Curated for travellers who’d like the outdoors experience without compromising comfort or style, these design-forward stays have addresses with enviable views – think woodland cabins set in National Parks, to boutique hotels overlooking cliffs’ edges.

Travellers can also rack up 10,000 Bonvoy points while living outdoors in style. To join the Drop Pin Challenge, rules include locating 20 iconic outdoor destinations in the US. and Canada, then scanning the code on each pin to win. Leading the real-life treasure hunt is TV personality and outdoorsman Dylan Efron, who has kicked things off with the first pin drop find near Big Bear Lake, California.
