The Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) will be held from September 7 to 16, and will feature various race-themed lifestyle events and promotions.

Singapore will be the sole country in South-east Asia to host an F1 Grand Prix this year when the night street race returns this week. The Malaysian GP was not renewed last year.

The Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) will be held from September 7 to 16, and will feature various race-themed lifestyle events and promotions.

Into its 11th edition, the event has grown to include new features. This year, visitors can take the opportunity to snap pictures at the first public display of world championship-winning Formula 1 racecars. More than 20 iconic and Concours d'Elegance classic cars such as the Lamborghini Miura and the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing are expected to be on display.

Culinary experiences include a haute gastronomy and fine wine session with Formula 1 world champions, and for some sizzling action, a culinary showdown between Olympic swimming champion Joseph Schooling and Australian Red Bull F1 racing driver Daniel Ricciardo.

Epicureans can also look forward to Circuit De 1919: A Pirelli Edition and Empire Landmark Circuit. Returning for the second year at 1919 Waterboat House, the former boasts a lavish spread of international and local cuisine as well as an exclusive exhibition of selected Pirelli tyres.

The in-circuit concert, an event mainstay, will feature headlining acts such as Jay Chou, The Killers, Liam Gallagher, Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa.

Ticket holders will be entitled to special GPSS discounts and offers at participating attractions, museums, dining and retail outlets.

Singapore is expected to host the Grand Prix until at least 2021, after the signing of a new contract last year.
