Shenzhen is officially home to one of the world’s largest indoor ski domes, a 100,000sqm ski wonderland equipped for both leisure and competitive play.
Huafa Snow Bonski offers five slopes totalling 1,569m and two terrain parks. The main attraction is the 4,000sqm “Ice and Snow Wonderland”, featuring 14 interactive attractions, alongside family-oriented entertainment.
Thrill seekers will want to take on the longest single run which stretches 463m, while the maximum vertical drop dives down to 83m, and slopes reach gradients of up to 18 degrees.
Developers also built the complex according to International Ski Federation (FIS) standards, integrating elite coaching, school–enterprise collaboration, and international snow competition hosting capabilities, towards future plans of growing the Greater Bay Area’s winter sports capabilities.
Travellers looking for other massive indoor skiing options in China can consider Shanghai’s L+Snow Indoor Skiing Theme Resort (90,000sqm), Harbin Wanda Indoor Ski Resort (80,000sqm), Guangzhou Snow World (56,000sqm), and Chengdu Snow World (55,000sqm).
