Come 1 July, travellers landing at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport will have to find alternative transport modes when moving between terminals.

The airport will be ending Skytrain operations between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, to facilitate connections for the newest Terminal 3, currently slated to open in end 2027.

An official 12 June post by the operator advised travellers to use the Taoyuan MRT or the 24-hour shuttle bus instead.

The airport MRT serves both terminals and carries on to either Taipei main station or Zhongli station on either end, while the shuttle bus shuttles between both terminals.

While landside inter-terminal transfers will end in July, Skytrain operations within the airside will not be affected.
