Images have emerged of Singapore Airlines’ new SilverKris lounge at Melbourne Airport ahead of its September opening.
The images first appeared on the website of Perth-based architects MODE but have since been taken down.
Images show a ‘Home Away from Home’ design similar to SilverKris lounges at Perth, London Heathrow and Singapore Changi T2 and T3.
The new Level 2 location – adjacent to the Emirates Lounge – is 30% larger than the current downstairs lounge. It will open in a prime position overlooking the airfield, the spot was previously occupied by the Aspire Lounge.
Star Alliance Gold flyers and Virgin Australia’s Velocity Gold (and higher) members, will have access to the lounge when departing on Singapore Airlines.
