Qantas is receiving some help from Finnair in launching premium economy seating on selected Sydney-Singapore and Sydney-Bangkok flights.

Qantas has leased a Finnair A330 between Sydney and Singapore from 31 October, as well as on Sydney-Bangkok flights from 31 March 2024.

Qantas needs the Finnair jets to solve a shortage of suitable aircraft of its own.

Unlike the Qantas A330s they replace, the Finnair A330s include a premium economy cabin as well as Finnair’s non-reclining business class ‘sofa’ seat that has won a lot of friends for its comfort.
