Plaza Premium Group has unveiled a brand-new lounge at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) as it makes its 25th anniversary this year.

Located at KLIA Terminal 1, the lounge is one of the largest Plaza Premium Lounge worldwide, housing both Plaza Premium Lounge and Plaza Premium First under one roof.

The lounge features different zones, with dedicated relaxation corners, dining and working spaces, in addition to shower amenities as well as nursery rooms for parents.

Featuring works by local Malaysian artists, the lounge also doubles up as a gallery space. In its inaugural exhibition, Plaza Premium Lounge partners with The Art People Gallery to showcase local art from Malaysian artists.

Plaza Premium First serves a curated dining experience based on an a la carte menu. Plaza Premium Lounge, on the other hand, offers a buffet menu that includes plant-based and vegetarian options created by celebrity chef Andri Hadi, Plaza Premium Lounge’s newly appointed Chef de Cuisine.

Guests can expect signature dishes such as nasi lemak with Australian beef rendang for Plaza Premium First and Malaysia curry laksa for Plaza Premium Lounge.

Frequent Plaza Premium Lounge guests will also have the option of upgrading to the Plaza Premium First experience.

From now through 30 May 2023, a two-hour lounge use at Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge will start from RM202 (US$46) per person and RM146 (US$33) per person respectively.

The new lounges at KLIA join Plaza Premium's recent launches at Adelaide, Bengaluru, Cebu, Dubai, Florida and Hong Kong, with the brand also set to open at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International airport later this year.
