Malaysia Airlines (MH) is heading back to Paris, with direct KL-Paris
flights due to start in March next year. The Airbus A350 aircraft will
be operated on this route.
Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) group managing director Datuk Captain
Izham Ismail said the company sees immense potential for the Paris
destination but has played down reports that MH will add another two
destinations in Europe as early as next year.
Malaysia Airlines previously suspended flights to Europe in 2016, as the carrier phased out its B777 fleet.
Before its 2016 restructuring, Malaysia Airlines flew to Paris,
Frankfurt, Munich, Rome, Madrid and Zurich. It has continued to fly to
London.
MH will operate three times a week to Paris from 22 March, increasing to a daily service from 29 March.
MH21 will depart Kuala Lumpur around 11.45pm to reach Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport at 6.40am the next morning.
MH20 will leave Paris at 11.25am, arriving at KLIA before 7am the following day.
