Singapore Airlines has launched a commemorative gin with London-based Hayman's to celebrate the 50th anniversary of flying between London and Singapore.

Flavours synonymous with Southeast Asia, such as kumquat, lemongrass, galangal and Persian lime, are infused into Hayman's dry gin recipe.

The limited-edition Connoisseur Dry Gin is available on Hayman's site or SQ's SilverKris Lounge at Heathrow T2 from September. KrisFlyer frequent flyer members should also receive a special offer.

Not flying to London yet? Fret not.

Don your best headphones to relive the joys (or frustrations) of travel with an audio clip of a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Heathrow.

The 30-minute recording takes listeners through the buzz of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, capturing familiar sounds from the departure hall to boarding flight MH4 and flying towards the UK.

"Brain tingling and nostalgia side effects to be expected. Listen with caution. Headphones recommended for ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) effect," the description on the airlines' YouTube page reads.
