The ATR 72-600, which will be utilised by Cebgo (a wholly owned subsidiary of CEB), features an enlarged cabin with additional seating capacity, which will help lower unit seat costs for the carrier.
Philippines carrier Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) received the delivery of an ATR 72-600 High Capacity aircraft, the second of a US$673-million order comprising 16 aircrafts ordered at the 2015 Paris Airshow.
The ATR 72-600, which will be utilised by Cebgo (a wholly owned subsidiary of CEB), features an enlarged cabin with additional seating capacity, which will help lower unit seat costs for the carrier.
The series of new aircrafts are part of the carrier’s plan to reduce fleet’s fuel consumption and cost per seat, while responding to an increasing demand for inter-island connectivity.
On November 19, CEB will be launching three new inter-island routes: Cebu to Calbayog, Cebu to Ormoc and Cebu to Roxas with the ATR fleet.
