Emirates has announced further expansion of its premium economy cabin across its Airbus A380 fleet.
From 10 November, the 56-seat premium economy cabin will be introduced on daily A380 services between Dubai and Milan. From 1 December, all A380-operated services to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport will also feature the cabin.
These additions are in line with the airline’s ongoing upgrades, which already include premium economy on selected Dubai–New York flights (EK203 and EK204).
The retrofitted A380 aircraft offer four cabin classes – first, business, premium economy, and economy. Emirates said the aircraft are also deployed on routes in the Asia-Pacific region.
Looking ahead, the airline plans to expand premium economy availability across its fleet, including the A380, Boeing 777, and Airbus A350. “As part of its rollout, Emirates plans to offer the premium economy cabin on 68 routes by March 2026,” the carrier confirmed.
