Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has unveiled Inside The Dream, a new original documentary film offering an in-depth look at the meticulous craftsmanship and service philosophy behind its hospitality.
Premiered on 27 June at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, the film is now available on Prime Video, Canal+ and Tencent. It explores the work of staff across three global events in Europe and Asia, showcasing the behind-the-scenes efforts that go into delivering the Group’s hallmark guest experiences.
The film captures “the dedication of our colleagues, who consistently deliver extraordinary moments with grace, precision and a deep sense of purpose,” said Laurent Kleitman, Group Chief Executive of Mandarin Oriental.
Directed with a cinematic lens, Inside The Dream highlights the collaborative spirit and attention to detail that define Mandarin Oriental’s brand identity.
Claude Lacaze, CEO of Terminal 9 Studios and producer of the documentary, said: “Each episode of Inside The Dream is an invitation to step behind the scenes of a legendary house to reveal the passion, talent and quiet excellence that make the world dream.”
He added that dedicating an episode to hospitality was “a natural choice” due to its parallels with haute couture and fine watchmaking in terms of “precision, beauty and emotion.”
The film aligns with Mandarin Oriental’s broader aim to connect with today’s travellers through storytelling and content that reflect its values of innovation, heritage and craftsmanship.
Inside The Dream joins a legacy of branded documentaries, taking inspiration from luxury labels such as Bvlgari, Mugler and Dior.
