Location and History

At Canyon Junction and the north entrance to the park, this property lies a half-mile from Inspiration Point.

Constructed in the 1950s and 1960s, this place has been, for the most part, rebuilt and redesigned under Xanterra's management.

The lodges are LEED certified and mark an eco-friendly move by the park service. In fact, this is the largest sustainable building project within the National Park Service system.
