Located just a few steps from the Hofburg Palace and surrounded by high end shopping (plus a nearby metro station), the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof is a classic chain link competing in a city packed with luxury hotels.

This building dates back to 1913 but during renovations artifacts were found (now on display throughout the hotel) that show that previous incarnations of the building sat on the site from medieval times.
